Wishing i was on a road trip with my girlfriends! Stuffing everything you possibly can in to the truck, wearing totally inappropriate outfits like fur coats and chiffon dresses, and spending quality girl time having an adventure. But alas i am at work, slaving away over a never ending to do list, hey you gotta dream right?

Happy New Years Readers! Im feeling totally uninspired for the new year. I wish i was out at my family's country house roasting marshmallows, and spending the day lounging around reading a book. (And wearing this cute outfit while doing it, too!)

Can you believe this 3.1 Phillip Lim collection? Hes always been a favorite of mine but this is mind blowing. Soft colors, warm pastels and dark blue mixed for full on sophistication, fun prints, and unexpected zippers. The tie front top is what really put me over the edge, perfect for all summer occasions. Wish i could clothe myself in this all summer 2011 long.

S W A N W E E K E N D.

Love these simple pictures, they make me think of a quiet weekend away. You have your beautiful weekend bag lovingly stuffed with all sorts of laid back clothing. Your bf brought you those stunning hydrangeas. And you guys are staying at a pretty little cottage and spending your days checking out local cafes, riding bikes, and catching up on some reading.

Or at least thats what im hoping for. Heres what i have packed in my weekend bag, if only this was true.

I cannot get over this outfit. So amazing! From the tied shirt, to the perfectly shaped leather bag, i am in love with this whole look. Gotta get some pleated pants like that!

Since its all of a sudden totally cold here, this is what i want to wear. Shorts, to still reference summer, with sweaters and chunky scarfs. Any big print on a scarf is ok with me, this one looks so comfy and cozy. And i have been wanting those boots practically forever, its about time i got on that.

Today i am officially done with college. I am just lazing around, getting last minute things tied up with school. I have found a internship job that i will be starting in about 2 weeks. But the bad news is i will be moving home during the week to get to this job. This stinks becasue i really like the job but can't leave my cat and my boyfriend home alone during the week. Hopefully since the job is a really good opportunity things will turn out good.

V A C A I N S P I R A T I O N.

I have had these pictures saved on my computer for so long i can't remember where they are from. They are exactly what i want to be wearing on my vacation next week. Retro bathing suits, easy rompers, and chic sun hats, anything to keep me cool and cute. Im just hoping to get a good tan, haha.
Tonight we are having friends over for pitchers of vodka tonics, chips and guacamole, and some corn hole. Should be super fun, now i just need to find something to wear!

I am loving this classically styled shoot, the khakis and crisp whites are really doing it for me. I also love the hair in the last one, you could totally make it modern. Is it me or am i plain, everything i like is khaki and solid colored lately!

Just a couple of dark-ish images becasue i feel as if we are heading into fall not spring. I am wearing jackets and sweaters and thinking about pulling out the boots once again! How can this be happening in end of April?

Aren't those Miu Miu shoes just stunning with the nylons pulled over them. I had to do a double take to see them properly and i just love the idea. And the second image, ahh! How cool is the bandage-ness of those bottoms, wouldn't they be the perfect bathing suit bottoms? I am thinking those with a beautiful white floppy hat and gold jewlery sipping drinks poolside. Hey a girl can dream, right?

So loving this hippie chic look. Its exactly what this semi-cold, semi-warm weather calls for, beautiful prints, over sized anything, and head gear. That second outfit is so something i am loving, the crop tops are really doing it for me lately. And who can turn away a beautifully tattered scarf? Count me in for a modernized hippie look this spring!

I can't remember where these images are from, but i have been saving them on my computer for a while. I just think they are so inspiring, especially the tarot card reading girl. Her kimono is so beautiful and all those rings look so glamorous.

How amazing is this spread? I'm loving every last pixel of it. From the dusty, dreamy quality, to the fanciful spring outfits, i wish i could jump right into the images. Too bad a bathing suit and jacket look is inappropriate for everyday. Now i need to get some of those chic white shorts!
