Just found this wonderous blog with its 'Modern Bohemia" feel, and im left feeling nostalgic for summer. All the colorful prints, in both the outfits and home goods, make these photos seem so alive. I think i've died and gone to textile heaven! This blog/tumblr is filled with an amazing selection of prints, patterns, and colors. Everything from knitwear, to wall paper, to childrens toys, are all covered on this site. My eyes couldn't take it all in, i had to look through a second time to catch things i missed the first time. I'm obsessed with these Clare Vivier bags! They are so simple, in an unassuming shape, yet totally luxe in a rich brown leather. A great wear-anywhere, have-forever, type bag. Just look how stylish these bag wearers are!

I've been combing through her blog; where she talks of bag making, travels, shopping escapades, and more, and find it so interesting (i may or may not have gone through tons old archives to get my Vivier fix!). Since Santa seems to have forgotten i'd asked for one of these, i'll just have to keep dreaming!

Ah if only i could have a closet this magnificent! It doesn't hurt that she has A) the best clothing collection ever and B) has a shag rug to add extra umph!

Organization is my thing, so i love to peek into peoples spaces, especially their closets. Its so personal to see how someone organizes their clothing and shoes, and makes it all workable (or not in some cases). The extra rod and shelf dividers are an idea i just might have to steal from BJones 'Inside my Closet' post.

Went out for my bf's work event. I wore one of my all time favorite dresses, its a black mini dress with a peacock like print all over, a closet staple for years. We had so much fun with free drinks, live music, and good company- i even got to take the flower arrangement home!

Just found this stunning blog. Gorgeous pictures, easy tutorials, and great ideas are moving this blog to the top of my daily reads. If you didn't already know, im obsessed with garlands, here are two more ideas to add to my must do list. Other projects on my list include: finishing up needlepoint initial towels, jewelry christmas presents of all kinds, christmas tree pom garlands, mantel 'happy holidays' garland, etc. etc. the list never ends.

Just found this blog and im totally loving it. Although her pics are mostly iphone pics, it has sort of a real life feeling, like your seeing her right before she leaves for the day. And seriously, her layering techniques are insane, basics with a chic twist seem to be a signature of hers. A wine stained lip, a gaggle of bracelets, or a chunky scarf, always a perfect finishing touch to each outfit. Im taking her cue and dressing in warm knits, wrists full of jewelry, and perfectly manicured nails, this weekend!

Im obsessed with this outfit. Can it get any better than these stripes? Paired with this seemly perfect pair of trousers, this seems like a wear anywhere type of outfit. Im also in love with her little boston terrier, Birdie, so cute!

Flashes of Style.

Filled with a multitude of sun filled outfit photos followed by great little commentary, Flashes of Style has won me over. With a mix of thrifted, f21, and other budget options, this student always manages to look amazing. Love her mix of chunky sweaters and fun seperates- perfect dressing for fall. I've been saving that first look in my archives as the perfect outfit for fall weekend dressing. If only i had a starbucks in hand!

I love to see different peoples spaces, espically someones work space. Im a super fan of these poofy, paper-ish necklaces by Lauren Manoogian, as witnessed here . Heres a peak inside her workspace. Lots of things to oggle over, beautfiul swatches, lively plants, and of course stunning clogs! Now if only i could figure out how to make one of those necklaces!

Love the ease of this house, strung up bags, plants galore, and strategically placed worn in furniture. Not to mention the beauty of the little lady who lives there. The simplicity of her outfits is so chic and goes perfectly with her coiffed blonde hair.

And how much do you love that gathered light bulb fixture? Amazing!

Leather and Lace.

You never see good old fashioned best friends anymore, espically ones that are dressed impeciably. I love how Jessica and Chloe are always slightly coordinated, both in jean cut offs, both in silky white tops, both with purple nails. They also seem to share a lot of clothing, like those amazing loafers, but each wears it in her own way. And talk about amazing jewelry, they pile on the gold and silver like no body's business. Then include the amazing watches and fur pouch purses and this is a recipe for success! If you haven't seen their blog check it out!

I have been nonstop browsing etsy at my new job because its at a craft company and i stumbled upon this great shop. Its called Talula and its all mixed metals, found objects, and sparkly little touches. I love how a few of her pieces are good luck, as in the rabbits foot (which i am drooling over), and the horse shoe (which is always a classic). Each of the pieces looks worn and vintage-y, but is totally modern. And wouldn't those earrings be perfect for a night out on the town with your hair up? Excuse me while i do a little ordering!

I really just love how effortless and easy her style seems. Such a breath of fresh air when everyone else has super long hair and millions of accessories.
The simplicity of that lace dress in the top is like my summer dream. I like the way she styled it with the pouch bag and nude sandals. I also love that last photo, the necklace and her super crisp white bed with Americana touches are really perfection!

Has anyone seen this girl, Natalie Toren, on StyleLikeU? How amazing is she? With her perfect shade of lipstick and easy chic style i am just loving her. Shes a stylist in NYC and used to work for Allure and Nylon Mag. She shows off a few of the most perfectly unique blazers during her shoot. The one blazer that she had tailored is so beyond amazing, just when i thought i was over blazers! Oh and having a beautiful black cat gives you extra points in my book, as i have one too!

I first discovered this lovely gal on Chictopia, she just kept popping up and i took the plunge and saved her on my daily blog reads. I am enthralled with her lovely 70s outfits. She owns her own vintage store and wears tons of thrifted and vintage pieces, a girl after my own heart! She hems, chops, and manipulates her clothing to fit her and it always looks fabulous. If you haven't checked her out yet, do it!

Closet Obsessions.
Its been a long time since i have done a Spotlight piece. But i recently stumbled upon Ellie of Closet Obsessions, and just had to do a post on her.
She totally stays true to her style with black and whites and thigh highs galore. She works the same pieces (AA tank dress for example), in many outfits and makes it look fresh every time. She is also a layering mastermind, and plays with proportion beautifully. And lets not even mention her shoe collection, Elizabeth and James wedges, Vera Wang sandals, i could go on and on. She reminds me of a cross between Rumi of FashionToast and someone else who i can't quite put on finger on. Shes going to the top of my daily reads list, check her out!
