Desire to Inspire. (Of Course)I have been away from my home for the week days lately and its making me ever more fond of interior design. My house, featured in the background of the last post, is so fun to decorate. We have 14ft ceilings, great big molding, and original wood floors. Our house is a row house built in 1883, so it has tons of character.
I have been wanted to re-do our bedroom for quite a while now but haven't gotten around to it. I want light, bright, and airy, with a bit a bohemian in the details. Things like ikat pillows and dreamy lighting. I picked up this amazing wicker trunk with gold corner details and gold latch, it is my starting place for the room.
Here are some inspirations, red and coral pops of color, stacks of candles, and anything a bit worn looking. I think i'm going to go with this Pottery Barn bedding, with the blue accents and see what happens from there.
